Create of short, medium and longer term goals.
Having a plan allows there to be a positive direction, even though derivation is likely to occur.
Clinically, never compromise your set standards.
If something falls below your standards, refine/redo your work to ensure an optimal result.
Appropriate magnification with illumination is a must.
This will not make you “better” at dentistry, however it will make “better” dentistry more reproducible
Critical appraisal is a foundation of development.
Regular self assessment and honest critical appraisal will always lead to standards being raised.
